Useful information

1. Security checks

Prepare your reservation and ID for security and ferry line checks (3 hrs prior to departure).

The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS) requires all ports to carry out security checks, identical to those in airports, on all pedestrian passengers and vehicles authorised to enter the Corsica embarkation zone.

As required by regulations, the security officers will systematically verify the Rights of Access (travel tickets or badges) and ID documents.

Also as required by regulations, as part of a filtering process, random checks may be carried out on vehicles and luggage.

All passengers must prepare to show their travel tickets and valid ID documents, to enable a smooth check-in service, or to present them on demand.

Passengers must also carry these documents if they wish to leave the security zone to enjoy the nearby areas of Nice, while awaiting the departure of their ferry.
